Do you think you have what it takes to do what we do? Would you like a glimpse into our world? To see the techniques we use to pick, age and prepare our meat? And would you like to have a go yourself?
Our butchery workshop classes will provide you with the opportunity to do all of these and hopefully more. We aim to teach you what to look for in selecting meat, cutting techniques, tips on cooking different breeds, as well as allowing you to prepare and take home your own joint.
There will also be some food provided, and a glass or two of wine to accompany the meal, if you are so inclined.
There are three classes available, beef, pork, and poultry and lamb, with a sausage and curing class to follow soon. The classes will be held at our Pitshanger Lane shop and are held on Wednesday afternoons from to 2.00pm - 4.30pm.
UNFORTUNATELY, DUE TO EXTREME STAFF SHORTAGES WE HAVE HAD TO SUSPEND THESE CLASSES, BUT WE WILL INFORM EVERYONE AS AND WHEN WE CAN START THEM BACK UP AGAIN, SO WATCH THIS SPACE.
